Wallpeople is an international project of collaborative art. The initiative tries to promote the creativity of people by inviting them to be part of a unique moment in a specific urban space. Our actions pursue to create unrepeatable street works thanks to the contributions of all participants. One of the basic reasons of Wallpeople is to return art to the streets and reclaim public space as a way for expression and citizen interaction. We believe that creativity is free and shouldnʼt be locked up in museums. Wallpeople was born in 2009 as a living attempt to create a global movement of urban and popular art. He has taken part of several actions in over 40 cities all over the world. Every single edition is different, proposes new formats and topics and tries to extend the idea for different new countries.
