I generate my work by means of observing everything and everyone around me – but, above all, with patience.

I have been observing artistic and artisan practices since I can recall, that’s the background I rely on to develop my projects. I try to contribute rather than bomb; the best thing that can happen to me is making a mistake and learning from it even if it fucks me up.

Painting is, of the means I can express through, the strongest and most important. Since I became acquainted with Art History and its painters I fell in love with this life.  I like looking back and seeing what has been done. A lot of them died being nobodies while alive but are now considered giants, so, in a way, I don’t care about being a giant in our times as long as I stay true to what I believe art is. Painting puts food on my table every day. So far, it’s enough.
