ELISAVA is happy to be a part of Ús Barcelona’s first edition. Alumni from ELISAVA are found amongst the artists that are part of the event – Ariadna Schneider and Octavi Serra are examples. A group of five students currently in the third year of the School’s design degree (Adrià Serrano, Rocío Larrumbide, Anna Madrona, Cristina Miquel i Sara Jumenez) have been invited, along with designer and tutor Jordi Canudas, to partake in the event through an intervention inspired in ÚS’ philosophy. The interactive installation they will present, displaying an important critical and ironical element, is set out to engage with attendants and make them reflect on how the use of cars impacts the city. www.elisava.net
